Ron Dudek – Expedition Leader

Ron Dudek
Expedition Leader

Ron was born and raised on the south side of Chicago joined the Marine Corps at 17.
He arrived in Viet Nam at the ripe old age of 18 in November 1965. During his second Viet Nam tour, he was on guard duty on January 31, 1968, for the start of the infamous Tet Offensive. After four years, he was honorably discharged and applied for a job with United States Department of Agriculture. He went back to college and earned a degree as a Food Technologist and was able to retire in 2002 at the ripe old age of 55.
After retiring, the next year he became a Viet Nam Battlefield Tour Leader for the past 22 years now. He has made over 40 trips back to Viet Nam. I married a beautiful Vietnamese woman in 2004. So needless to say, I have been all over Viet Nam. He will bring his immense knowledge and experience to AHP and is looking forward to expanding new historical ideas and horizons in-country.
